Thanksgiving Day Program

With this program, families can sign up for a Thanksgiving meal food box. To qualify for the program individuals must bring in proof of their income, proof of address and proof of family size. Qualifying families are low-income based upon the information form the Department of Economic Services. Families are selected based upon their evidence of need.

Specific Programs


Food Boxes

Kikstart Inc. provides needy families in our community with boxes of food. Participants may receive a food box every two weeks. We will also provide recipients additional help if our food boxes are not sufficient for their needs. Food boxes are distributed by appointment only.

 Summer Lunch Program

This program is designed to serve hungry children healthy FREE meals during the summer. This program is federally funded child nutrition program which was established to ensure that low-income children, ages 18 and younger, continue to have an opportunity to receive nutritious meals when school in not in session. FREE meals, that meet federal nutrition guidelines, are provided to all children at approved sites with significant concentrations of low-income children. Christmas Program

Our Christmas program provides families in the community with gifts for their children. Individuals may sign up as a family in need for the Christmas season. To qualify for the program individuals must bring in proof of their income, proof of address and evidence of parent/guardianship of kids. Qualifying families are low-income based. We collect donated items and funds from the community to provide this assistance.


Food Programs
